Questions to plan around
Design and materials supply are available globally, while installation is available in Southern California.
Where does a lighting plan start?
With how you use each space and the mood you want. Share photos, any existing fixtures you want to keep, and plans for joinery, shelving or feature walls, since these are often where lighting is integrated.
What are ambient, task and feature lighting layers?
Ambient light sets the general level in a room, task light supports specific activities such as cooking or reading, and feature light highlights shelves, artwork, stone or architecture. Combining layers, with dimmers and controls where useful, lets one space work for different moments.
Can lighting be coordinated with furniture and outdoor spaces?
Yes. Cabinet, shelf and feature lighting can be planned with custom furniture, and exterior or landscape lighting can be integrated with decks, patios and fencing. Planning early helps settle fixture positions before finishes go in.
